On Thursday 24th and Friday 25th September, we’re throwing open the doors of Birmingham Council House and turning one of the city’s most iconic buildings into The House That Brum Built.
10 rooms packed with Birmingham brilliance, celebrating the people, places, food, music, art, comedy, history and general glorious weirdness that make Brum, Brum.

You’ll find some of the city’s best-known faces alongside brilliant independent businesses, creatives, performers and organisations, all taking over different corners of the building.

Everyone coming through the doors can pick up their very own Brummie Passport.
Your mission? Explore all 10 rooms, collect all 10 stamps and prove once and for all that you are a True Brummie.

It all starts with an ALRIGHT BAB
Before we even get inside, we’re kicking things off in Victoria Square with the FlashBab.
Hundreds of people. One city. One enormous, completely unnecessary and absolutely essential:

Expect Mr Egg, the Lord Mayor, the raising of the International Day of Birmingham flag, music, Curly Wurlys and enough civic pride to make you emotional about the Bullring.
Ten rooms. Two days. One massive celebration of Brum.
A lot of the programme is completely FREE, while some events are ticketed or need to be reserved in advance.
